My story:
Alma came to the Suspiros family with Zoe in February, very scared of all people and staying with other dogs.
The work during these months has meant that she now lets some volunteers approach her and also allows her to be petted by those she trusts.
Her coat looks better thanks to the baths and good food and she is starting to change physically and psychologically.
We know that it is still too soon for someone to give her a chance, but we don’t lose hope and we wanted to show you her progress.
Update:
How beautiful it is to see you trust, Alma. Feeling you seek out a gentle touch fills our hearts, especially when we think back to the day you arrived nine months ago. You were so scared that we couldn’t even get close enough to remove the chain around your neck.
Your most recent experience in a home showed us how far you’ve come. During the move, we discovered your favorite spot was the couch, where you would sleep peacefully, snuggled close to the person you trusted. And what a superstar you’ve been—you always did your business outside the house!
Now, Alma is asking for her chance to find a forever home, and we’re here to ask on her behalf. This is her time to receive all the love and care she so deeply deserves.
