My story:
Last February someone sent us a video of a 15 year old dog in the dog pound Paraíso and it broke all our hearts to see her there. We were told that her owner died and his wife took care of her, but the very old lady got sick and she had nobody who could help her.
So poor Maya ended up in the pound where we found her scared to death, not wanting to eat and attacked by one of the dogs she shared the kennel with.
