My story:
Pekin is one of those dogs that often go unnoticed: serious, a bit distant (if he doesn’t know you), and not particularly striking in appearance. But his story is heartbreaking. Pekin was rescued from a terrible situation, covered in bite wounds, abrasions, fear, and insecurity. X-rays even revealed shotgun pellets in his body. This poor dog has not had an easy life in his three years, but we are determined to change his fate and ensure his future is filled with happiness, love, and wonderful things.
Currently, Pekin is in the shelter, where he lives with other dogs. Every day, he grows more confident and seeks contact with the volunteers.
