My story:
Vilma is a sweet podenca we rescued alongside her companion, Kiko. Both have faced difficult times living on the streets, and it’s clear that Vilma is still learning to trust humans.
Though she’s a very good girl, Vilma hasn’t yet shown us her soft, loving side. She watches the volunteers from a distance, as if she wants to take that step forward and ask for affection, but fear still holds her back.
We believe that, with patience and care, she will learn to trust again. Vilma needs a family that understands her fears and is willing to help her leave those struggles behind and embrace the life of love she deserves.
